Its pointed tip also makes it a great choice when precision work around foul joints is required. The Grip-Tex handle withstands high and low temperatures, it is comfortable and slip-resistant-a great attribute when working with foods that are slippery and wet, like fish. In addition to NSF certification, impervious seal of blade and handle provides the highest sanitary qualifications. Like all Dexter Russell knives, stain-free, high-carbon steel blades are hand ground and hand honed.
